This Op Art Vase platter measures 14” long and 9” wide. It is created using the slab built method, involving rolling clay out to a thickness of 1/4”, then attaching the pieces together, sgraffito-ing designs, painting with underglaze then bisque firing. After it comes out of the kiln, it is glazed with a clear glaze and fired a second time to ensure that it is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Model OA-SP1
